Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Golang with Teleport to lead the implementation of innovative products and services, delivering secure, scalable, and efficient solutions that align with business requirements. This role involves strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, and adherence to industry standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing secure systems, optimizing cross-application processes, and coaching teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Implementation: Lead the implementation of new products and services, ensuring clear communication with business owners.
• Solution Development: Design, develop, and deliver simple, reusable, service-enabled, maintainable, and scalable security solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to Mastercard standards and best practices.
• Process Optimization: Proactively identify cross-application synergies, prioritize system enhancements, and automate manual processes.
• Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex technical challenges within the functional area of expertise.
• Technical Reviews: Lead review sessions of technical requirements and ensure system readiness through planning, testing, and implementation discussions.
• Team Leadership: Oversee day-to-day system development and maintenance activities of the technical team.
• Collaboration: Partner with Business Operations (Biz Ops), Security Engineers, and Technical Operations (Tech Ops) to ensure governance controls and support requirements are met.
• Operational Readiness: Ensure platform goals are achieved and operational readiness is maintained through coordinated efforts with multiple teams.
• Innovation: Research and perform Proofs of Concept (PoCs) on emerging technologies and frameworks to improve security and development practices.
• Mentorship: Coach junior team members on software development and security best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections and walkthroughs throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, architecture, design, code, and security reviews to ensure compliance with Mastercard standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Extensive experience in leading technical teams and implementing security solutions.
• Strong background in designing secure, scalable systems in adherence to industry standards.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and project coordination.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in secure software development, system integration, and automation.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, governance controls, and operational readiness.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and performing PoCs.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
